2018年10月16日创立，2025年5月落下帷幕。虞剧社——女王大学首个现当代华语戏剧社团——在安大略湖畔的金斯顿的故事正式完结。
我们郑重致敬，在安大略省金斯顿所进行的活动，坐落于Anishinaabek、Haudenosaunee及Huron-Wendat人民的传统领地。我们对他们世世代代守护这片土地表示敬意，并致以诚挚的谢意。
七年间，每一次制作都见证了无数理想的萌芽、无数奋斗的日夜，以及那份执着于将现当代华语戏剧带上加拿大舞台的赤诚热情。它承载了无数的故事、无数的理想、无数的挣扎，以及（无论是失败还是实现）都盛大非凡的结局。至少，那是我们曾相信过的人性可抵达的乌托邦。
如今，多伦多虞剧社（Yu Theatre Toronto）将接续这一未竟的使命，将华语语境戏剧推向更广阔的舞台，走向世界。值此过渡之际，我们谨向所有曾参与女王大学虞剧社（Queen's Yu Theatre Society）制作的成员致以最诚挚的感谢——是我们一起在加拿大的文化舞台上开拓出属于我们的小舞台。
为表达我们的敬意与延续彼此之间的艺术连结，多伦多虞剧社特设“开拓者赠票回馈计划”，邀请曾在女王大学虞剧社的开拓者们回到我们的剧场，共襄盛举。
“开拓者赠票回馈计划” 活动细则

适用对象：凡曾参与女王大学虞剧社（Queen’s Yu Theatre Society）2018年至2025年间任何一部正式制作的演职人员，且姓名刊印于正式演出派发的场刊中者，均有资格参与本计划。

赠票形式：每位符合条件者，在多伦多虞剧社任一新制作中，如本人到场观演，即可获赠该制作演出期间任意一场演出门票一张。此条件终身有效，每人终身最多可领取三张赠票。

使用限制：

每部新制作仅可领取一张赠票；

一人如曾参与多部校园演出，仍视为一人参与，每部新剧限领取一张；

不得转让、转售或用于其他商业用途；

需本人亲自到场，凭有效身份证明领取；

不适用于联合制作或与其他机构主办之特别场次（具体场次将另行公告）；

若该场次票已售罄，则不另行增设座位或提供赠票，建议提前登记以确保名额。
领取方式
请符合条件者，最晚于剧目演出前一周，通过多伦多虞剧社官网或指定邮箱（info@yutheatre.com）进行登记，并于演出当日现场核验身份证明后领取票券。

本活动最终解释权归多伦多虞剧社 Yu Theatre Toronto 所有。
Founded on October 16, 2018, and concluding in May 2025, Yu Theatre Society — Queen's Yu Chinese Modern and Contemporary Theatre Society — has drawn its story by the shores of Lake Ontario in Kingston to a close.
We acknowledge that the activities we hold in Kingston, Ontario, take place on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabek, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat peoples. We honour their enduring stewardship of this land and extend our deepest gratitude.
Across seven remarkable years, each production bore witness to countless dreams taking root, countless nights of tireless effort, and an unwavering passion for bringing contemporary Chinese-language theatre to Canada. These productions carried stories, ideals, struggles, and endings — whether triumphant or unfulfilled — that were all, in their own ways, grand and remarkable. Above all, they reflected our shared belief in a utopia we once thought humanity could reach.
Now, Yu Theatre Toronto carries forward this unfinished mission — to bring theatre rooted in Chinese-speaking contexts to larger and broader stages around the world. At this moment of transition, we extend our sincerest gratitude to every individual who has once taken part in the productions of Queen’s Yu Theatre Society. Together, we carved out a small but vital space for ourselves on Canada’s cultural stage.
To honour that legacy and sustain the artistic bonds we have built, Yu Theatre Toronto is launching the Pioneer Complimentary Ticket Program, inviting the pioneers of Queen’s Yu Theatre Society to return to our theatre and celebrate together.
Pioneer Complimentary Ticket Program — Terms & Conditions

Eligibility
All individuals who participated as cast or crew in any official production of Queen’s Yu Theatre Society between 2018 and 2025, and whose names were printed in the official program distributed at the performance, are eligible for this program. -
Ticket Format
Each eligible individual may receive one complimentary ticket to any single performance of a new production by Yu Theatre Toronto, provided they attend in person. This benefit is valid for life, each person may receive a maximum of three complimentary tickets in total over their lifetime. -
Usage Restrictions

Only one complimentary ticket may be claimed per new production.

Individuals who participated in multiple campus productions are still considered as one eligible person and may claim only one ticket per new show.

Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be resold or used for any commercial purposes.

Complimentary tickets must be claimed in person with a valid government-issued photo ID.

This offer does not apply to co-productions or special performances held in collaboration with other organizations (these will be clearly announced in advance).

If a performance is sold out, no additional seating or complimentary tickets will be issued. Advance registration is recommended to secure availability.
How to Claim
Eligible individuals must register via Yu Theatre Toronto’s official website or email (info@yutheatre.com) at least one week before the performance, and present a valid ID on-site to claim the ticket.
Right of Interpretation
Yu Theatre Toronto reserves the right to the final interpretation of this program.
